The Wiggles ditched their skivvies and had a HUGE style makeover for the cover of Rolling Stone
Toot toot, chugga chugga, Rolling Stone cover!
The Wiggles have cemented their rock star status with the children’s entertainers are set to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.
For the first time, The Wiggles will grace the cover of the September issue of the Australia/New Zealand edition. Yellow Wiggle, 16-year-old Tsehay Hawkins also becomes the youngest person to appear on the local cover of the iconic pop culture masthead.
It has been a big couple of years for the group. In October last year Emma Watkins announced she was leaving the group and her replacement was Tsehay.
In January 2022, the group took out the number one spot in the Triple J Hottest 100 for their cover of Tame Impala’s Elephant. Landing in second place was The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber for their 2020 hit, Stay.
For the cover story, The Wiggles granted the magazine access to their recent Australian arena tour and to their Hot Potato Studios in Sydney, as they worked on new music and rehearsed a brand new TV show.
Out of their colourful skivvies and into some funky threads: The Wiggles aka Anthony Field, Simon Pryce, Lachlan Gillespie and newcomer Tsehay Hawkins.

The Wiggles shared the Rolling Stone annoucement to their Instagram page and was inundated with love from celebrity friends and fans.

The September-November edition, which includes a Wiggles-themed adult colouring book (squee!), hits newsstands in Australia and New Zealand on Monday, September 5, 2022.
