The NSW State Government is helping families with their back-to-school costs for 2023, and parents, guardians, carers or students can apply for 3 x $50 vouchers, totalling $150 for each eligible student.

The vouchers can be towards the cost of school uniforms, shoesbags, textbooks and stationery, at registered businesses before 30 June 2023.

Many parents and carers will find that their school uniform shops will accept the vouchers, which makes a life a bit easier all round!

Who can apply for Back to School Vouchers…

You can apply for the vouchers if you’re a caregiver of a student, who is:

  • a NSW resident
  • enrolled to attend school in 2023 (from kindergarten to year 12), including students who are:
  • home-schooled
  • enrolled in year 10 or year 12 equivalent qualifications at TAFE NSW.

How NSW parents can claim their Back to School Vouchers…

  1. Parents, carers, Check the eligibility requirements.
  2. Select the ‘Apply online’ button.
  3. Log in, or create your MyServiceNSW Account.
  4. Follow the prompts to apply for the voucher.

Where to use your NSW Back to School Vouchers…

A large number of many well-known stores are accepting these vouchers and some school uniforms shops and P&Cs are on board too, so check in with your child’s school before you start spending.
