Ready ... set... CRAFT!

EDIT: From 1 January 2022, the Creative Kids program is refocusing on encouraging real-time (live) activities. Art kit programs, pre-recorded video lessons and online programs that are not delivered in real-time are no longer eligible.

The NSW Government is helping kids get creative with the Creative Kids program! Similar to the Active Kids program each child is issued with $100 to help them tap into their creative side.

The vouchers can be redeemed at local approved providers for visual arts, creative industries like coding and robotics, literary and linguistics arts, performing arts, cultural programs and more.

But that’s not all, many providers have curated incredible creative kits that can be redeemed online and delivered straight to your door … perfect for those of us that are stuck in lockdown and homeschooling our kids!

How NSW parents can claim their Creative Kids Vouchers …

Parents, guardians and carers can apply for a voucher with a value of up to $100 per calendar year for each student aged 4.5 to 18 years old enrolled in school.

The voucher may be used with a registered activity provider for registration, participation and tuition costs for creative arts, speech, drama, dance, digital design, coding, and music lessons and activities. You can also use your voucher to claim some incredible creative kits delivered straight to your door, like the examples in the gallery below.

To use the voucher, give the details to your registered activity provider.

The program runs year-round, so kids can get creative at any time! Check out some of our favourite place to use your voucher online in the gallery below …
