Supernanny Jo Frost shares her thoughts on Kate Middleton’s parenting of Prince Louis over Jubilee weekend
The four-year-old Prince stole the show with his cheeky antics.
Parenting expert Jo Frost aka The Supernanny has praised the Duchess of Cambridge’s calm parenting style and the way she responded to Prince Louis cheeky behaviour at the Jublilee Pagent over the weekend.
Sat on the front row of the royal box, the four-year-old Prince was seen shushing his mum, putting his hand over her mouth and pulling faces at her, all in front of a global audience.
The English parenting expert took to Instagram to share her thoughts on Louis’ behaviour and the way Duchess Kate calmly handled the situation.
“I believe little Prince Louis behaved remarkably well over the whole weekend of much spectacular fanfare! All that sitting, watching and organisation, most children can’t sit in their chairs at a dinning table for longer than 15mins,” shared Jo Frost.
“It certainly must of been beautifully overwhelming for this little chap especially with no playtime inbetween and long days, children are going to test, one should expect as such. We have all been entertained by this little boy’s character, a great sense of humor, strong willed and most definitely a highly sensitive soul in my professional opinion.”

Jo went on to praise Duchess Kate and Prince William and called them both “parenting role models”.
“I’m more impressed with how the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge continue to be such impressive parenting role models to our modern parents today, they are open about their own struggles as parents and like all parents out there continue to strive to do their very best in raising their young.”
She continued: “Catherine has never been one to shy away from publicly giving her children a fair telling off to behave and that’s a sign of a confident parent who is able to hold boundaries whilst empathetically meeting her childrens needs aswell as understanding the circumstances. I wish every parent the confidence to understand as such so that our children may be raised, seen & heard loved with healthy boundaries.”

Royal fans were quick to agree with the Supernanny’s post and praised Prince Louis’ behaviour in the comments section of the post.
“I thought Louis, and the other Cambridge and Royal children, were delightful all weekend. It’s so lovely to see them relaxed in each others company, particularly when Louis was chatting away to the Queen and wanted his Grandad, and Catherine did a wonderful job of keeping a watchful and calm eye. They’re children, not mini Royal robots! And it’s heartwarming to see them 👏” wrote a fan.
Another added: “He’s 4, and he was on his absolute best behavior considering all he had to endure.”
“I think it’s great that he sat so long without an iPad or phone, most kids can’t sit at a family meal without a gadget,” added a parent.
