"I actually never did ANY form of exercise before having my children!"

Nobody could ever accuse mum-of-four, Sophie Guidolin of being idle. In addition to raising her four beautiful kids, the 32yo Gold Coaster is author, educator, nutritionist and fitness professional and now she’s set her sights on helping mums get on tip of their fitness goals.

Alongside head trainer and fitness professional Triniti Jean, who is currently pregnant herself, Sophie is set to launch two brand new pre-natal and post-natal e-books to complement her hugely successful TheBOD program.

“The pre and postpartum programs were written by a qualified women’s physiotherapist,” Sophie tells Bounty parents. “With the bod twist on it! You will feel supported knowing this program is safe for women during the different phases of pregnancy.”

“I actually never did ANY form of exercise before having my children,” fitness fanatic Sophie confesses.

“I didn’t even step into a gym until after having kids. I didn’t play any team sports, I even had my mum write me letters saying I didn’t have to participate in school. I hated exercising. I didn’t like the feeling of being fatigued!”

For Sophie a relationship with exercise developed once she became fond of the the positive way staying fit made her feel.

“It wasn’t until I fell in love with the feeling,” Sophie shares. “Realising I had more energy, and felt better that I became so addicted to the feeling of knowing how good my body was designed to feel!”

Now Sophie wants to give all mums and mums-to-be that feeling!

The program features a variety of exercises and movements led by Sophie in conjunction with head trainer and fitness professional Triniti Jean.

Triniti is currently pregnant and will be demonstrating exercises which are safe to do throughout pregnancy and beyond and focus on movements Mothers can do to regain their strength postpartum.

“As a single mum of 4, it is hard to find the time for health and fitness,” admits Sophie who says it’s essential that we map out that time for ourselves, rather than “just expecting to find it.”

For Sophie the key to doing that is planning her to days with exercise time incorporated and putting any mum-guilt in the bin!

“We have to know that when we are in the best place, our kids benefit too!”

Sophie says that making time for fitness is essential and mum guilt should not come into it.

Launching this weekend, the e-books have come at the perfect time for those currently stuck in lockdown.

“I always find these lockdowns a great time to build the family unit,” says Sophie. “I am very blessed that my children love to join in on my home workouts and have a bunch online for free to follow also!”
