Red Wiggle Simon Pryce has marked a major milestone for his son Asher; his first birthday!

Simon and wife Lauren Hannaford welcomed baby Asher in January 2021, and the 49-year-old performer has been loving every moment of parenthood since.

He regularly shares updates and family snaps on social media, where fans have eagerly followed along through Asher’s first year.

Now Simon and Lauren are celebrating their bub’s first birthday and both took to Instagram to gush about their boy turning one.

The Wiggles performer shared three snaps of Asher to mark the occasion; two recent photos of the family of three, as well as a shot of Asher as a newborn.

He then penned a sweet caption that hinted at some of the ups and downs of his little boy’s first year in the world.

“Happy 1st birthday Asher 🎉 What an incredible year it has been,” Simon wrote.

“You have brought us so much joy, laughter, a few sleepless nights but an appreciation of life that we have only come to understand since you have been part of ours. ❤️”

The gorgeous family of three have been making the most of Asher’s first year, enjoying their first family Christmas in December 2021.
Simon and Lauren made sure to make it a memorable holiday, even dressing up in adorable matching festive pajamas with Asher.
Other photos shared to Simon’s Instagram show him and Lauren spending plenty of quality time with their son during lockdowns, making the most of the extra downtime during the pandemic.
While they’ve only had Asher for a year, proud parents Simon and Lauren are clearly loving life as “mum and dad”.
The pair, who wed in 2017 after meeting on the set of a Wiggles tour, initially struggled to conceive and spent two years trying before Lauren fell pregnant.
“There were complications, [but] as soon as we got out of our head that it doesn’t look like we can physically fall pregnant at the moment, we fell pregnant,” Simon told Now To Love of their fertility journey.
“And you hear that story so many times but that’s literally what happened!”
