Celebrities share sweet tributes to the most important women in their lives for Mother’s Day

There truly is nothing like a mother’s love.
And while one single day of the calendar year to celebrate the special women in our lives really doesn’t cut it, we still embrace Mother’s Day with open arms.
On Sunday, A-list names led the tributes on social media, with the likes of Bindi Irwin, Lisa Wilkinson, Jules Robinson and Jess Rowe all sharing touching and insightful revelations about what it means to be a mum.
Favourites like Carrie Bickmore and Nicole Kidman also shared unrecognisable childhood throwbacks of themselves with the most important women in their lives.
Meanwhile, our favourite male celebs like Matty ‘J’ Johnson, Tim Robards, Jett Kenny and James Stewart took the opportunity to gush over their own wives and mothers.

Carrie Bickmore
Carrie shared this cute childhood throwback with her mum on Mother’s Day, but fans couldn’t get over how much the TV icon resembled her own daughter Adelaide when she was her age.
Nicole Kidman
We can see where Nicole got her looks! The award-winning actress posted this snap of her mum holding her as a baby in Hawaii and captioned it: “Reminiscing… wonderful memories with my mumma back in Hawaii. Happy Mother’s Day mumma.”
Bindi Irwin
Bindi shared this adorable throwback of herself and her mother Terri.
“The strongest, most loving and caring woman in the world. Mum, I love you more than I can possibly describe. I am forever in awe of the remarkable person you are. Thank you for being my best friend from the moment I can remember. ❤️,” Bindi penned.
The mother-of-one also shared a tribute to her one-year-old daughter Grace, saying she’s “grateful for every minute” she gets to be a mum.

The Summer Bay veteran and mother-of-one paid tribute to her beloved mum Jenny.
“Happy Mother’s Day mum to you and to all the mums out there. We love you and appreciate you very much and couldn’t do it without you ❤️,” she penned.
Lisa Campbell
The proud mum’s husband David paid tribute to her in this sweet photo, which was accompanied by a caption which read: “When I think about what an amazing mother @lisaluckiest is, I just look at our children. The former Bachelor wrote a heartwarming tribute to his fiancée Laura, with whom he shares two daughters; Marlie-Mae and Lola.
