BABY NEWS: Mandy Moore is expecting her first child with husband, Taylor Goldsmith
The 'This is Us' star shared a series of gorgeous images to reveal the news.
Congratulations are in order for Mandy Moore and her music producer husband Taylor Goldsmith! The pair have shared the happy news that they are expecting their first child together.
“Baby Boy Goldsmith coming early 2021,” the ‘This is Us’ star captioned a series of sweet Instagram photos on Thursday, in which the couple is seen smiling while the musician cradles 36yo Mandy’s burgeoning baby bump.
The little one will mark the first child for the Tangled star and singer-songwriter Taylor, who she wed in 2018 after two years of dating and more than a year of engagement.
A musician herself, Mandy recently released her seventh studio album, Silver Landings, her first in more than a decade.
But, after spending much of her teenage and adult life in the spotlight, Mandy is perhaps most recently well known for playing matriarch Rebecca Pearson on the hit NBC series, This is Us.
Now, she’s getting ready to step into the role of mum for real.
“He makes me melt. I can imagine no better partner!”
“I feel a kinship with her,” the Princess Diaries star told E! News of her character, Rebecca back in 2017. “I was most concerned about was feeling maternal, not having children myself. But being part of a project like this definitely makes my ovaries start kicking.”
“I want kids sooner than later,” the broody star confessed.
That time has finally arrived for the Crush songstress, and it’s sweet timing as Mandy and Taylor get ready to celebrate their second wedding anniversary in just a few weeks.

“He makes me melt. I can imagine no better partner,” Mandy gushed to Glamour of her singer-songwriter husband.
“He’s going to be the most tremendous father. I view the past as a stepping-stone to get me where I am today. I would gladly weather all of that a million times over if it brought me to Taylor again.”
Mandy penned a sweet tribute to her husband on his 35th birthday in August, writing: “I’m not sure what I did in a past life to deserve you but it must have been something big. You are undeniable. Your inherent light, humility, grace, humor, and compassion are contagious and I feel lucky to get the chance to bask in your goodness with outstretched arms. Thank you for trusting me with your heart. Thank you for being the best travel companion, crossword puzzler, songwriting partner, pet parent, and my favorite person. 2020 has certainly been a wild ride but I really can’t wait for what this next year will bring.”
