Libby says this picture sums up how’s she’s feeling right now.

Libby, who shares daughters Poppy, seven, Edwina, five, and three-year-old, Bronte, with her husband Luke Trickett, goes onto describes how she has been feeling during her fourth pregnancy.

“These last couple of weeks have been hard for me physically, which then always impacts me mentally,” she says.

“Bronchitis has led to some serious rib pain from the coughing which has been frustrating because it’s meant I’ve really had to slow down with work and everything else I love doing. On top of my usual pregnancy joys, it’s been VERY emotional.”

Libby says she’s not one to ‘sashay’ through pregnancy.

Opening up about the realities of pregnancy and how some women can find it difficult, Libby says women shouldn’t feel bad for not always loving being pregnant.

“I really love the outcome of pregnancy and I’m doing my best not to wish these last weeks away, but I’m really looking forward to being there,” she says.

“I don’t want women to think that pregnancy sucks, but I also don’t want women to feel bad if they don’t sashay through pregnancy. It’s a deeply individual thing.

“If you do feel great and LOVE being pregnant, that’s awesome. It’s taken me a while but I now genuinely feel happy that some women feel that way.”

Libby finishes the post on a relatable note for any woman who has struggled during pregnancy.

“Equally, if you really don’t like it, I feel you and it doesn’t make you a bad person and it doesn’t mean you aren’t extraordinarily grateful for the privilege of being pregnant,” she says.

“It’s complicated, like life is I guess. Moral of the story, I can’t wait to meet you in 10 weeks baby ❤️x”

Libby’s post was flooded with words of support and messages thanking Libby for opening up and being vulnerable and telling the Olympic Gold medalist that they could relate to how she was feeling.

“❤️ is this my diary? I swear I could of written this post. Sending so much love to you!!! X” wrote a follower.

“Sending a big hug…. You’re allowed to have all those feels & as always thanks for being vulnerable! You’re doing your best & that’s all you can do but we all see you as a super ⭐️ no matter what💛” shared another mama.

“I loathed being pregnant but loved the outcome too! 4 kids from 4 pregnancies so I have been very lucky. But being pregnant was not pleasant at all,” added another honest mum.
