"I'm going to show you my baby room, ready?"
Pregnant Katy Perry can’t wait to meet her baby girl!
The 35-year-old pop star and her fiance, Orlando Bloom are due any day and over the weekend, Katy showed fans a first look at her little girl’s nursery.
During her weekly Smile Sunday livestream show, the Teenage Dream singer showed off the gorgeous pink-themed room.
“Hey everyone, I’m going to show you my baby room,” Katy announced to viewers before entering her little one’s nursery.
The mini-tour of the room began with Katy showing off some super-cute baby clothes that she had hanging on the wall of the room before panning the camera around to show off the cot, rocking chair and changing area.
A large mirror and stylish lights can also be seen in the clip.
This nursery is oh-so-stylish.
Katy then held up an adorable and hilarious onesie with images of 43-year-old Orlando Bloom‘s face on it. Cute!
During the live stream, Katy also let fans know that she is adorable calling her unborn child, “Kicky Perry,” and joked that she wants to “evict” her baby soon.
She’s not even born yet, but Katy and Orlando’s daughter is destined to be daddy’s little girl.
With Katy due within days, the songstress recently opened up to the Los Angeles Times about why she’s not afraid of the physical part childbirth, simply stating:
“The pain will pass. It’s temporary.”
Katy annouced her pregnancy in March this year, when she showed off her burgeoning bump in the video clip for her song, Never Worn White.
Shortly after the announcement Katy revealed that she and her Lord of the Rings actor fiance had been planning to have a child together.
“It wasn’t an accident,” during a conversation with SiriusXM’s Mikey Piff. “I’ve just been trying to create this space in my own life where I’m not running myself too ragged and creating space for something new to pop in like this.”
Katy also told the radio hosts she was proud to talk about the fact that she’ll be joining the working mother brigade.
“I’m joining the force of working mums out there and that is a very strong force.”
“I love what I do and it doesn’t feel like work and it brings me so much joy, so I just want to continue that state of joy.”
