Former Voice Australia coach, Jessie J has announced she is expecting her first child.
The 34 year-old singer, shared her happy news to Instagram with an emotional video, proudly showing off her baby bump. The baby news comes one year after Jessie suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage.
Alongside the video showing several clips of Jesse’s pregnancy journey so far, the singer wrote in the caption that she had mixed emotions about sharing her baby news.
“I am so happy and terrified to finally share this…,” she captioned the clip which is set to her song, Sunflower.
“Please be gentle with me. Honestly, ya girl just wants to ugly cry in public in a catsuit eating a chocolate covered pickle with no questions asked 🤸🏻♂️”

Jessie J is expecting her first child.
In November, 2021 Jessie J, whose real name is Jessica Ellen Cornish shared the devastating news that she had suffered a miscarriage.
The singer shared on Instagram that she had “decided to have a “baby on my own” and tragically lost her unborn baby after going for her third scan, where doctors were unable to find a heartbeat.
“After going for my 3rd scan and being told there was no longer a heartbeat,” she said at the time.
“This morning. I feel like I have no control of my emotions. I may regret posting this. I may not. I actually don’t know. What I do know is that I want to sing tonight. Not because I’m avoiding the grief or the process, but because I know singing tonight will help me.”
After suffering a devastating miscarriage in 2021, Jessie is set to welcome her first child in 2023.
Jessie J is currently in a relationship with basketballer Chanan Colman but has not confirmed he is the father.
The singer previously dated actor Channing Tatum on and off again for over a year, but officially broke up in April 2019.
After sharing the news of her pregnancy announcement, Jessie followed up with another video shared to Instagram showing how difficult she has found the first trimester. The Bang Bang singer can be seen looking unwell and throwing up several times.
“I was warned about that first trimester and it was WOOFY WOOF,” she wrote, adding a string of emojis, “😂😭🤣🤰🏻🥱🤤🤢🤮😵💫🙄😂😭😏🤮😳”
