Pregnant Jesinta and Buddy Franklin are giving daughter Tullulah the cutest first Christmas tree EVER
Hello Australia!
Celebrating your first child’s first Christmas is a pretty special time, and for new parents Jesinta and Buddy Franklin making Christmas magical for eight-month-old Tullulah is a no-brainer.
29yo Jesinta, who is already pregnant with her second child has shared a series of Instagram stories showing the tree and decorations that they’ve chosen and we are loving the Australiana theme.
The videos, which were taken in a Sydney Myer store and give us a glimpse of the model’s burgeoning bump, showcase the selection of yuletide offerings in store.
“We are celebrating Tullulah’s first Christmas this year so we want to make it super special,” Jesinta captioned the first video which shows the range and size of decorated trees on the store floor.
Giggling, the former Miss Universe Australia confessed that bigger is better when it comes to spoiling Tullulah.
“As its Tullulah’s first Christmas Buddy and I agree that we have to go with the biggest one,” she laughs.
We see a baby bump!
In a year where Australians can’t really travel far from home, Jesinta and her husband, AFL star Buddy opted for the ‘Eucalyptus’ theme and we’re smitten.
Native flora and fauna make for the most adorable Christmas theme. Koalas, kookaburra, wattle and bottlebrush will be adorning Tullulah’s first tree.
Jesinta and AFL star hubby, Buddy welcomed Tullulah in February this year after struggling to conceive and were surprised to fall pregnant again so soon after.
“It was a very big surprise for us. Tullulah will be getting a sibling at the end of March next year so she will have just turned one,” she explained during an Instagram live session with Vida Glow founder Anna Lahey revealing she was 18 weeks along.
“I’ll have a 13-month and a newborn, which was very daunting at first.”
Despite taking four years to fall pregnant with Tullulah, Jesinta admitted the second time around was much easier with the couple finding out they were expecting just a week after Buddy travelled up to Queensland to be in the AFL hub.
“It was very hard to conceive the first time with Tullulah, and for this [pregnancy] to be such an unplanned surprise is a blessing,” she said.
“I had the moment that I wish for with Tullulah, where you pee on a stick and it’s such a surprise and it’s very exciting!”
