Chrissy Teigen shares gorgeous new video of her four children
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen welcomed a newborn son, just five months after welcoming daughter Esti.
Wren Alexander Stephens was born to Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s surrogate, just five months after the 37yo model birthed daughter, Esti. Now their home is “officially full”.
The couple are parents to Luna Simone, 7, Miles Theodore, 5, Esti Maxine, who was born on January 13, 2023 and newborn, Wren Alexander.
On September 30, 2020, Chrissy shared the news of her pregnancy loss at 20 weeks. The pair named their late son, Jack.
Shortly after the arrival of Wren, Chrissy took to Instagram to proudly show off some new photos of her four gorgeous children.
She captioned the snaps: “4 people I made (with lots of help from other people lol) I love them so much i could explode into 1 million pieces.”
The new mum also shared a sweet video of her brood all dressed in matching blue gingham outfits.
She captioned the video: “muted to protect your ears from john and i making extremely annoying animal noises ❤️🤍💙”

When announcing the arrival of Wren Alexander, the former host of Lip Sync Battle shared a lengthy Instagram post which detailed the difficult journey their surrogate, Alexandra had gone through to bring the couple’s fourth child into the world.
Alexandra had previously tried to carry another of the couple’s embryos, but sadly it didn’t survive. The superstar surrogate then went through a grueling process to make sure Wren was born healthy, making sacrifices that new parents Chrissy and John Legend were so grateful for, they chose to use Wren’s middle name as an ode to her.
“For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted four children,” Chrissy explained in her post. She added that after losing her son Jack in the middle of her pregnancy, she didn’t think she’d be able to carry more babies herself.
It was this realisation that led her and John on a journey to find a surrogate via an agency in the hopes that two surrogates could carry two of the stars’ babies at once: “like twins, kinda?” she wrote.
Two new babies in addition to the couples children, Luna and Miles would fulfil Chrissy’s wish of having four children.
However, during the IVF process, Chrissy decided to try one more time herself.
“At some point in our surrogacy journey, I came out of a therapy session, walked downstairs and said to John—I want to try to carry just one more time. If it doesn’t work, we will be okay. We’ve already seen the worst. I remember saying I just couldn’t go on wondering my whole life if I should have tried again.”
And then they met Alexandra.
“Around this same time, we also met the most incredible, loving, compassionate surrogate we could ever imagine, Alexandra. I knew she was a perfect match for us the moment we spoke to her. All our wishes and dreams aligned.”
While the first embryo transfer was unsuccessful, the second resulted Alexandra’s pregnancy. An experience both women were able to go through together.
“I wanted to be her friend, I wanted our children to play, I wanted dinner together, I wanted to lay my head on her belly and be able to feel the hiccups and kicks. I wanted them to be in our lives for as long as time would allow.” wrote Chrissy.
“We ate hot pot to celebrate, watched Vanderpump Rules with our growing bellies, our families blending into one for the past year.”
Chrissy welcomed the pair’s daughter, Esti, in January and, five months later, little Wren joined the family via Alexandra.
“I got to witness the most beautiful woman, my friend, our surrogate, give birth amidst a bit of chaos, but with strength and pure joy and love,” the grateful new mum shared.
“Our hearts, and our home, are officially full,” said Chrissy. “And to our Jack, we know both their angel kisses are from you.”
