After two years of pandemic lockdowns and remote learning, Book Week will finally be celebrated in person this school year from August 20-26, 2022.
This year, the Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA), has selected the theme ‘Dreaming with Eyes Open’. Celebrate the beauty of Australian literature this Book Week with colourful displays, competitions, and the ever so popular book week parade.
“Book Week is one of the highlights of the school year, and it’s so wonderful that children can once again, celebrate and enjoy Book Week in-person,” says Nikki Yeaman, co-founder of online costumer retailer, Costume Box.
