Autumn weather is perfect for filling your bellies with the hearty comfort food that has long been enjoyed around tables all over Ireland.

Saint Patrick’s Day is an annual holiday that falls on March 17, and with so much Irish blood coursing through the veins of Australians, it’s a day we love to celebrate.

As you can imagine, it broke my very Irish grandmother’s heart when I had my first daughter on March 16 and my sister followed suit by having her first daughter on March 18. So, so close #SorryNora.

There are so many wonderful things to celebrate about the ‘Land of Saints and Scholars’, including the food!

Fortunately, here in Australia, Saint Patrick’s Day’s Autumn weather is perfect for filling your bellies with the hearty comfort food that has long been enjoyed around tables all over Ireland.
