Things to do in Darling Harbour with kids
Family fun in the heart of Sydney!
Located a short walk from the centre of Sydney, Darling Harbour has countless kid-friendly things to do.
From the Chinese Garden of Friendship, to Sea LIFE Sydney Aquarium (and more!), there is plenty of fun for the big kids (adults) and for the little ones.
We’ve shared some of our favourite things to do with kids in Darling Harbour in the gallery below…
Dessert Lab Workshop at Love Bomb Candy
Kids will feel like they are in Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory when they take part in Love Bomb Candy’s Dessert Lab Workshop.
Kids can create their own Gourmet Rocky Road and a loaded Gelato.
The 2hr workshop is $90 and each candy maker receives a Love Bomb Candy showbag, valued at $60 and a LED Light Up Balloon.

Splash and play in Darling Harbour’s amazing playground
Darling Harbour just happens to have one of Sydney’s very best playgrounds.
Boasting climbing ropes, a water play area and even a 21-metre flying fox and more, the Darling Harbour Children’s Playground will keep your kids entertained for hours.

Dine in at a kid-friendly restaurant
Looking for a bite to eat? Well, you’re in luck!
Darling Harbour and Cockle Bay Wharf have loads of kid-friendly restaurants to choose from including, Nick’s Seafood restaurant, Adria Bar Restaurant, Café Del Mar, Blackbird Cafe and Baia The Italian.
One of our favourites is Brazza Churrascaria which offers a unique service style from Brazil known as “Rodizio”, where Passadores (meat carvers) rotate
from table to table serving you more than 20 types of skewers and over 14 sides.
One word: Delicious!
