Princess Charlene’s 7yo daughter gave herself and her twin brother a DIY haircut. Eeep!

At some stage in your parenting career, there’s a good chance that, with horror, you’ll discover that your child has given themselves a DIY hair cut.
Even the royals, cannot escape this parenting rite of passage as Princess Charlene of Monaco recently discovered.
In a post to Instagram, Charlene of Monaco reveals it was her seven-year-old daughter, Gabriella who was responsible for not only cutting her own hair but also lopping off her twin brother’s locks too.
“Gabriella gave herself, and her brother a haircut !!! 🤦🏼♀️ Looking forward to school on Monday…” she wrote.
Princess Gabriella gave herself and brother Prince Jacques a DIY hair cut.
Fans and other parents were quick to sympathise with the 44-year-old royal.
In the comments section of Princess Charlene’s post, one person commented:
“Love this!! Think all sisters do this to their brothers at some stage.”
Another added: “Been there.”
One fan commented: “Hahaha we’ve all done this at some stage.”
Another agreed, saying: “My twins did the same. I felt so embarrassed with their teachers…but they told me that it’s not unusual at their age.”

For Princess Charlene, it’s not the first time her daughter has taken on the role of a hair stylist. A year ago, Princess Gabriella gave herself an uneven, choppy fringe.
Sharing photos on Instagram at the time, Princess Charlene said her daughter had decided to “give herself a haircut”.
Charlene is the Princess consort of Monaco and a former Olympic swimmer. She is married to Albert II, the reigning Prince of Monaco.
One Aussie mum who can relate to Princess Charlene’s current predicament, is Bec Judd.
A couple of years ago while in the trenches of Melbourne’s lockdown, the television presenter shared a snap of her daughter Billie’s at-home haircut. In the Instagram post, Bec wrote:
“Billie cut her own hair a minute before zoom school started today. 🤯 I walked into the study and found locks of hair all over the floor. She was chuffed. I blame iso. 😐 I had to tidy it up with the herb scissors in her 5 minute break because they were all I could find. 😩Swipe for pic of herb scissors. 🙈 Anyway she’s totalling channeling @georgiafowler and we’ve decided it’s a vibe. 💯”
