Mums swear by viral lime hack that helps kids sleep

While many parents accept that sleepless nights come with having kids, they are often willing to try anything to improve their sleep. Now, a simple hack involving a lime is being called a “game-changer” by sleep-deprived parents.

Jessica Lynne, a Psychic Medium, discovered that limes are effective in helping kids sleep. After sharing her hack on Instagram and TikTok, the post went viral.

While some people on social media were skeptical, joking that limes would only help them sleep if paired with tequila, plenty of parents swore by the hack.

“MY DAUGHTER SLEPT 10 HOURS UNINTERRUPTED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HER LIFE AFTER I DID THIS! It could be a coincidence but before this she would only sleep 3-5 hour stretches,” shared one parent.

Added another: “Stop it. THIS. Freaking. Worked. Life changing.”

Bounty Parents spoke to Pyschic Medium, Jessica Lynne to find out more about the power of limes and how effective they are in helping to improve sleep.

What is the lime sleep hack?

The lime sleep hack is where you simply cut a lime in half, place it in a dish, and position it next to your bed to help with sleep quality! You can also use limes to cleanse your home or space, by simply placing multiple dishes around your home or by diffusing a lime essential oil. 

How does it work? What is so special about limes? And how do they impact sleep?

Limes are known for their strong cleansing properties and their ability to provide a fresh, clean slate energy to any space. Throughout time, limes have been used to rid negative fear-based energies and dark entities and by using the limes in your sleep space, you can ensure that only positive and loving energies are present – promoting a more peaceful sleep! 

How did you first come across the lime hack?

I started using limes as a method to rid an “entity” that had attached itself to me. One morning, I woke up with the feeling that someone was in my room, their breath on my neck and scratching my back. I panicked and quickly turned around, only to realize that there was no one there. 

The next day, I sought help from my Kinesiologist to remove any lingering energy left by the entity (I had already tried using sage, palo santo, and other common methods to cleanse). She applied lime essential oil to my feet, and I immediately felt a shift. 

Lime actually expelled the entity, instantly! Wanting to safeguard my bedroom from its return, I cut a lime in half and placed the two halves in a dish on my bedside table. My wife and I have never slept better.

The hack has gone viral. Are you surprised by all the success stories from parents all around the world?

Honestly, it amazed me how few people were using lime to cleanse their space as the phenomenon has been around for so long! You hear people speak about sage, but never limes! I found it was really effective in my own life and so started sharing it with my own clients and then had so many people raving about it, that I wanted to share it on socials for other people to try and it particularly resonated with mums that have issues with their kids sleeping through the night.

To my surprise, my post on limes went viral and I started receiving messages from mum’s all around the world sharing their experiences with using limes with their kids. In some cases, mums told me that their kids were sleeping for more than 10 hours straight, when prior to that they had never experienced a full night’s sleep.

I’ve also had mums tell me that their kids who had been suffering from night terrors for years finally found relief after incorporating limes into their bedtime routine. No more complaints about “monsters”!
