Safety and comfort for your special traveller are also huge priorities.

Do I need a travel pram?

Good question! A travel pram doesn’t have to mean you switching between Europe and Asia for your family holidays. If you’re someone who doesn’t venture much beyond your suburb you might not think you need a lightweight, compact pram. But if you go camping or to holiday parks, drive or fly interstate and head overseas from time to time, an easy-fold, smaller pram is definitely worth looking in to.

What to look for in a travel pram

With a huge range of impressive travel prams available in Australia – and unless money is no object – you need to think about what you want to use your pram for before you tap your card. Is it heading out and about around your local park pathways or beachfronts? Or perhaps you know you’ll be flying interstate to visit family, or you have a wanderlust and plan to travel with your little brood in tow.

Consider what’s more important: that the stroller is light, easy to manoeuvre, or will grow with your baby. Do you need it to fit in the overhead locker?
