Sharna Burgess and Brian Austin Green’s blended family with five kids
The Dancing with the Stars judge and 90210 alum are parents to a 2yo boy.
Brian Austin Green from Beverly Hills 90210 and his fiancee Dancing With The Stars judge Sharna Burgess have a blended family with five kids.
The pair got engaged in July 2023, with Brian enlisting his kids to help with the proposal.
“We head into our bedroom and I start to get these feelings,” explains Sharna on the couple’s podcast, Oldish. “The kids come in and Noah is holding Zane and Journey is holding this little red red Cartier box. They stand next to Bri and he says, ‘Would you spend the rest of your life with us?’ It was the most perfect, beautiful moment.”
The couple shared a video montage of all five of their kids putting their hands in, with Sharna’s engagement ring hand on top!
How did Brian Austin Green and Sharna Burgess meet?
The couple first met through their mutual business manager in December 2020. Brian (51) describes the chemistry on the first date as instant.
“We met at a coffee shop, then had a few dates and then we were locked in a house together. I was grateful for that because it allowed us to really take our time and it was really awesome,” he told People.
“On our first date, we just completely lost track of time and the same thing happened the next time. It became something noticeably different from anything I’d ever experienced before. I wasn’t sure what that meant until the first time we kissed and then it was the attraction and a whole bunch more. It was really cool.”
In 2021, the couple paired up to dance together in season 30 of US Dancing with the Stars. Sharna (39) had been part of the US cast of DWTS since 2011.
Soon after their elimination in week 4, the couple discovered they expecting their first baby.

In June 2022, Brian welcomed his fifth son, his first with Sharna. Announcing their baby boy’s arrival to the world, Sharna shared an Instagram post, writing: “Zane Walker Green. A part of my heart exists just for you.”
In July 2023, Sharna shared a sweet Instagram post to celebrate Brian’s 50th birthday and called him “the kind of father I could’ve only dreamed of (and I did) for my children.”
She wrote: “Life with you and our blended family is the easiest thing I’ve ever done and in all honesty it doesn’t feel like it’s our first time around.”
She finished the post by thanking friends and family for coming to a surprise party in Brian’s honour and said: “Happy Birthday to my person, my one, my best friend and baby daddy 🥰 Your 50, fine AF and I love you more than I can describe. I hope I get the next 50 with you cos we’ve only just begun ♥️.”
Earlier this year, Brian dedicated a Mother’s Day post to Sharna. Alongisde a photo of her cuddled in bed alongside four of their kids, he wrote, “You stepped into this world (which could not have been farther from the one you knew) and have become the rock of this family. You are an incredible mother and fiancé and we all love you to death.”

Brian, who played David Silver on Beverly Hills 90210, first became a father in 2002, when he welcomed son Kassius Lijah, now 21, with his ex-girlfriend and former 90210 co-star Vanessa Marcil.
He then welcomed three more boys with ex-wife, actress and model Megan Fox – Noah Shannon (11), Bodhi Ransom (10), and Journey River (8). The Transformers actress and Brian were married from 2010 until their divorce was finalised in 2021.
In 2022, Sharna was a guest on the Not So Hollywood podcast where she spoke about their blended family and Brian’s co-parenting relationship with Megan Fox.
“Honestly, the relationship is great. The reason it’s great is because the focus is the kids,” she said.
“There’s nothing else that needs to be considered other than making this a beautiful, healthy, whole environment for them.”
She continued: “People try to protect kids from divorce as much as they can so that they’re not affected, but the truth is they’re going to be affected. So you can only choose that there’s a positive effect or a negative effect.”
In late 2023, Sharna told the Quite Frankly podcast that Brian is an “incredible dad” who has been her “rock” while raising baby Zane.
The father-of-five has been splitting his time between Australia and the US with Sharna while she appears as a judge on the new season of Dancing with the Stars Australia.
