Proud mum, Elle Macpherson shares never-before-seen family photos for son, Flynn’s 24th birthday

As her eldest son turns 24, Elle Macpherson went full-mum, sharing a series of Instagram posts featuring flashback photos of her handsome son making his way through life.
The 57yo supermodel opened up the family albums, sharing never-before-seen images with her 614k followers on Monday night.
Alongside the first series of images, the proud mum wrote: “Flynn 24 today – our Valentine’s Day boy – you are the greatest gift , and you gave me the greatest gift – the experience of unconditional love for the first time … Born on the day of love , you bring light to all you do with your huge heart , brilliant mind , crazy courage , grace and style . Happy birthday baby ❤️”
Flynn, who Elle – affectionately known as “The Body” – shares with her ex-partner, billionaire financier Arpad Busson, was quick to reply, melting hearts with his response: “Love you ❤️.”
Elle, who has famously claimed that her family was her “greatest achievement”, shared more vintage photos of her Valentine’s baby in a second post captioned: “You are so loved .. happy birthday Flynn-boy 24 today , born to love 🥰”
It is clear from Flynn’s heart-filled response: “❤️❤️❤️,” that the feeling is mutual.
Although her career has kept the Aussie success story very busy, being there for Flynn and his brother, 19yo Aurelius Cy, has always been a priority.
“I know everyone says that about their mum, but it really is true. My mother has always been so incredibly devoted to me and my brother,” Flynn told Vogue Australia in 2019.
“I always knew we were her number-one priority,” Flynn added. “It has shone through everything from the way she chooses her jobs to the way she cooks dinner.”
As the founder of wellness company WelleCo, entrepreneur Elle has spoken openly about the ways in which motherhood helped to inform her beauty-through-wellness philosophy.
“I felt the most beautiful when I was pregnant, both inside my heart and in my body,” wrote Elle.
“I was just in awe of the incredible change that my body went through, and that initiated my journey into wellness. I wanted to understand how my body works and how I could look after my children once they were born – so wellness, beauty and motherhood have always been inextricably linked for me.”
Elle and the boys’ father, Arpad Busson, met at a Valentino party in 1996. The pair split in 2005 when Cy was just two, however they remain close and have always co-parented the boys amicably.
