Fifi Box celebrates Daisy’s first birthday with a homemade cake that took “hours” to decorate
Because making tiny white daisies from icing fondant can be time consuming!
Radio host Fifi Box has celebrated her youngest daughter’s first birthday in style.
Showing off the party photos from the weekend on Instagram, Fifi kept the invite list small, explaining that she was following social distancing measures amidst the coronavirus pandemic and that they were having an “iso” party at home.
The 43-year-old’s lounge room was decorated with a giant pink balloon installation, and a large, light pink balloon with ‘Happy 1st Birthday Daisy’ written in gold font.
The mum-of-two also revealed she made Daisy’s beautiful cake. It was covered in green icing and loads of tiny white daises made out of icing fondant.
Alongside an adorable image of the birthday girl crying while sitting next to her cake, Fifi wrote:
“Daisy really loved the cake I made her. I think she appreciated the hours it took to make those little white daisies from icing fondant.”
Awww! We think it looks amazing Fifi!
Fifi shared some more images from Daisy’s special day.
One snapshot included a selfie of Fifi with her two daughters and her own mum.
She captioned the sweet shot: “Three generations of girls”.
Last Thursday, Fifi shared a series of photos from Daisy’s birth to Instagram to mark her first birthday.
“A year ago today this little angel came into our world and has brought more joy, more love than I ever imagined possible,” she wrote.
“I just can’t believe I have been this blessed. Happy Birthday Daisy Belle baby.”
Fifi welcomed her daughter in June 2019, with the help of IVF and an anonymous donor.
While former professional Ironman Grant Kenny is the biological dad of Trixie, Fifi has not confirmed the identity of Daisy Belle’s father.
